In January, 2010 I added my first Acoustic Revive RR-77 to my system. As others have noted the best location for me has been mid position on the wall behind the speakers. Currently it is on a shelf about 6.5 feet off the floor. I now have two additional RR-77 units. Has anyone experimented with using two or three units in the same room? Do the units have any directionally in the way they generate the wave? Can the unit be placed so the blue on light is 90 or 180 degrees away from the listener?
Follow Ups:
I used to have two RR-77s—both placed on my rack behind the speakers. They worked regardless of orientation; I placed mine at 90 degrees, so I didn’t have to stare at the blue light. FWIW, I sold one and replaced it with a King Rex PSU for the remaining unit. I couldn’t tell any reliable difference between having two and having one King Rex–powered unit. Hope this helps.
I have been too lazy to try this, however.
If the AR uses a switching power supply as standard it will be affecting your mains quality. The effect of upgrading the supply may be as simple as reducing the hash introduced to the mains by the device' power supply.

I'm not even trying to guess why the PSU works. All I know is, it does.
I have one centered between my speakers and over 5 feet off the floor. The other is in the back of the room on top a record shelf and about 7 feet off the floor. The lights are very bright, but you could cover them. I have thought of using a black pen on them. I cannot imagine that the direction they point matters but have not experimented with this.
I will say that both have quartz glass disks on top them. Just yesterday while experimenting, I forgot to put the 2 inch diameter by 1/4" disks back. After listening for a cut or two, i was about to conclude that I did not like the new cables. I then noticed the disk was not in place. I made a big difference.
6moons did a review suggesting putting a AR QR-8 inside the AR RR-77 on the antenna bottom board near the wallwart plug in. I tried it, but it was horrible. I got it out as fast as I could.
Currently I have one unit with the King Rex Mark II PSU between the speakers and 6.5 feet above the floor. I sit 9 feet from the speakers. Unit two and three have the factory wall warts for power. They are located 6 feet behind me. They are located one above the other at 5 and 6 feet off the floor on an open kitchen island. I did notice a synergistic effect adding a second unit placed behind me as long as it was on the same mid speaker plane. When the third unit was placed off to the side behind me the effect was negative.
I think I will try the two regular units on the front wall shelf between the speakers and the King Rex powered unit dirrectly behind me and 6 feet from my head. I will report back impressions.
It can be tough trying to synchronize multiple units.
I'm surprised more people haven't noticed this phenomenon.
Imagine three units 'playing' at 7.83Hz and they are not doing it simultaneously.
No telling what frequencies you'd end up with.
Plus, what if your one unit isn't synched with the actual Schumann Resonance?
