I'm starting to feel alone here. lol
As Kenster said, it does make a very good improvement.
But one should keep saftey and insurance in mind.
I am mostly hardwired on my amps. Hardwired from the wall to the 2.5 Kv isolation transformer, then hardwired to my powerstrip going to my amps, then hardwired to the IEC end at the power amps. From the wall to the amps, the only connection is at the amps and the IEC plug.
I have another powerstrip that is hardwired to a 2.5 Balanced isolation tranformer. The powerstip does have a pair of Furutech AC recep. in it.
AC is Dangerous!! Be Careful!
Follow Ups:
I have a similar plan, but not as extensive as yours.
I plan to build an extension box with Oyaide R1 receptacle but the wire from the wall to the Box's IEC inlet will be hard wired at the wall end..thats all. I live in India and we do not have insured homes so thats not a case for me..but yes other hazards related to AC is there. But one hardwiring is okay, right :).

If you insist upon your plan, at least practice a measure of safety by implementing a power cord strain relief installed on a blank wall plate via a drill, Dremel tool, etc. in order to create a proper sized opening for the strain relief device.
Good advice if one plans on doing it. I use 2 of these power cord strain relief on my wall plate.
It might be worth looking at the National Electric Code rule book on Hard Wired Appliances. As far as I know the appliance must have a "Hard" disconnect as to not endanger a technician when serviced. But it would be good to actually get all the writing from the book. Maybe a trip to the library is in order.

No trip to the library is nessary.
I know it is not code. Use at your on risk.
My advice to you (Dynaudio_Rules) is to not do what I have done.
If anyone is interested they can find the code and wire accordingly or hire an electrician to stay within code. From what I have read so far there are some technicalities that need to be taken care of....

What is with the 2008 edition, I want 2010. :O)
and what about us Canadians eh, ever try hardwiring an igloo. lol
Your response to Glen B:
"Which is why hardwiring only the wall end is best....leave the component end with a IEC plug. In this way you eliminate two birds [the outlet and the male plug] while still having the same safety as anyone would have with a cord encapsulated to the gear with a plug on the end....that is ONE connection to disconnect from power. Its like moving the plug to the end of a power cord."
If you read my post over, you will see for the most part, this is what I have done!!!!
I don't get what you are trying to say, I'm confused.
On one hand you say to follow code and then in the same breath, your advice to Glen B is against code.
I say Follow Code...PERIOD. But read and understand exactly WHAT the code IS and not take someones WORD for it on a message board. Which is why I made reference to the NEC book. As far as I know 2008 was the last revision. After actually reading parts of it I can tell you that there are small things that must be done to bring such a wiring scheme into code...but basically it can be done.

You didn't even read my post. OMG!
As you have said you have only read only a few pages of the NEC book.
I would be careful of telling others that Code says hard wiring the wall end is alright, I am pretty sure your wrong!
I DON'T promote going hard wired, but I do share my experience when asked.
Because you are NOT a licence Electrician you should be careful when advising others, when your not even sure it's allowed yourself.
AC CAN KILL!!!!
Let me go put a disclaimer at the end of my posts...

While it's a good thing to warn folks that AC is potentially lethal (and other important factors to consider), it is *not proper* in this or any other AA forum to imply that folks who tweak, build, or otherwise advocate DIY AC delivery projects are somehow reckless in nature, and that everyone should stop designing/constructing AC delivery gear as part of the audiophile hobby.
I suggest you put things in proper perspective.
