I have to spend the $$ on the device before I can inquire how a previous magnetic field affects Optical or Mechanical reproduction methods? Or do you simply not know how CD players or Record players work?

That is a question to ask yourself. Ask why would it be that these devices work on CD's and DVD's. The fact it that there is more going on than optically reading 1's and 0's.
My Bedini works great, though a superficial engineering analysis says it should do nothing. Two hardcore non-believers were shocked to have to admit that the Bedini works after hearing it, even though they didn't believe it. I will say that as my pre-DAC system has improved, the effects of the Bedini have been less.
Logic and engineering will usually say that a power cord can't make any difference as well. Then the University of Toronto found measurable differences in a Virtual Dynamics power cord.
Art is usually ahead of the science behind it.
Hi Ron,
I am not suggesting that you have to buy anything, and I am definitely NOT the person to ask about how or why it works. For that information I suggest looking up reviews on the slightly more expensive Furutech devise, where they attempt to explain what it does. I'm merely suggesting that for ten bucks, or perhaps wait for others that have tried this Chinese piece of--whatever it is, and if someone out there is willing to risk the 10 bucks to confirm or deny what I am hearing, then this is what this forum is all about. Again, I am not affiliated with anybody, and in my book IF this item comes close to an $1800 product then that should be where the finger is pointed, not at why or how it worked. Now, if there is anybody that has a Furutech or other type devise that they could compare with, I'd love to hear the comparison. But, if I had spent big bucks and they WERE similar I probably wouldn't want to post here. For the record, I also have some DIY Hallographs that cost me about 15 bucks to make, (and many hours of labor). I don't know why or how they work, technically speaking, but it really doesn't matter to me if me ears tell me otherwise. Trust your ears first, and someone else's second.
