The best upgrade one can do on the original PP series is to chuck the nickel plated Power Ports and install some Oyaide outlets...much better :-)

Hi Kenster,

Is this a difficult task to perform for a competent, but unskilled hobbyist? I'm having fabulous results with one of PS Audio's new Power Port Premiers in my wall and I'd like to extend the benefits. Is it a simple procedure?

It is a simple job that can be done with a set of Hex keys(Allen wrenches) a phillips head screwdriver, a straight blade screwdriver, a pair of diagonal cutters and wire strippers. I'll send you a PM detailing the proceedure.

I ran across the new PS Audio Power Port premiers and they caught my attention...might have to check 'em out.
