I made an 8 foot pair of the full braided cat5 speaker cables in about a week of evenings. How can it take a year - are you running them throughout the whole house?

I have anti-cables sitting in the box along with CAT5 and a bunch of others.

You won't believe how good they are unless you try them. My entire ssytem is now wired with these ICs and speaker cables. Fun to build, too. Search here for tips. The original article is linked.

  I have a newbie question on the white lightning moonshine speaker cables. What happens when you use two of the conductors for positive, and only one for negative? Is there certain amp/speaker combo, that these wires would not work for?
  I would like to try them though, as well as the anti-cables.

    Conventional wisdom, double the return leg. That's what I did for both cables and ICs and I have yet to hear anything not wildly expensive as good. 'course that's just me.
