lets you hinge out the drivers for more speaker-like presentation, like AKG K1000. Raal is very expensive, and unfortunately, K1000 on used market sells for premium prices. Mysphere can hinge, too, but also very expensive.
So if you like what DSP does, that's one fine way to go.
I personally prefer that my headphones sound like headphones and speakers sound like speakers. The true limiation for headphones, no matter how expensive, is the lack of physical air movement and bodily vibration conduction IMO.

I have Raal SR1a and Stax Omege II and SR009. Each will favor different music genres, but IME Raal does seem to reach that "good enough not to need any change" status more regularly than others..
