used equipment will probably rise in price as demand shifts from new to used. At least that is what economic theory predicts.
I hope that is the case. I have *a lot* of vintage equipment that continues to rise in value...so if it goes up even more, better for me. Retirement is coming and all that and vintage equipment (like watches, wine, antiques) is a legitimate alternative investment.

62% chance we will be in a recession by this summer. Just a guess buying audio equipment will not be on most audiophiles minds.

Dealers will have a hard time moving product, the vast majority of which is imported at much higher costs (ultimately passed on to us). Buying new audio gear is almost a 100% discretionary expense which is, of course, the first to go when spending cuts are necessitated. ( with, of course, individual exceptions)
