I wasn't able to get a simple answer out of them.I realize that they are required to charge tax where the law demands, this didn't seem like the case here.
Also, when I talked to customer service, the woman kept insisting that they tax "the first order." Tax the first order?? That struck me as a policy geared at generating incremental revenue, rather than following the law.
Furthermore, taxing shipping sharges seems like a scam to me. Is it proper to tax shipping charges?
In any case, I will not be giving them one more dollar.
