On my VPI record player,when I changed the power cord,I hooked up the ground at the wall end,but not the component end.Record player has a seperate ground wire so I don't know if that's appropriate for your system.

I doubt JR is reading these posts,he'd have chimed in by now.I NEVER correct other inmates spelling,but I will now.

in the message you should describe your electrical system in as much detail as possible.What your wiring looks like inside the wall,and anything else you can think of.

I believe inmate Elso Kwak,a Countryman of yours,has built a JR filter.Could be a useful source of info.Inmate Garth might also know something.
