It seems to me a AC cord has less benefits if you don't filter the AC signal first, am I right?
For the filter (Like on the John Rich site) Could I use parts out of a PC power supply? I have a few laying around and the Capacitors in there are all 250V types, but I didn't look at the makes or sizes.BTW: What if your AC power out of the wall is not Earthed? All these filters and AC cords have a connection to ground.
