The bars are in the same area as the nuts and bolts and industrial supplies. They should be next to the rolls of tin and lead flashing which is still used in roofing although many have converted over to dead soft aluminum due to health regulations. I don't believe there is a problem with airborne contamination from lead in this form. The general concern is from handling and because of its past use in paint pigments which can become airborne if disturbed.I have purchased thicker (.062") sheet lead from other sheet metal sources in the area.
