Thanks for all the helpful suggestions and warnings. I have to say I'm getting a little apprehensive about using lead at all because of the associated health hazard. Does anyone know, is lead poisonous only to the touch or is merely having it the room, openly exposed, also risky?Perhaps granite or marble is the way to go, provided it is be properly damped with vibrapods or something.
