Steve my concern is for sound quality only.In my own system I prefer the outlet wired with 12 gauge. The 10awg is perfect for mid-fi and starting level of hi-end and in my case very good on digital(DAC+ Drive). The problem with 10awg is everything come out sound bigger than life, very impressive at first, but if you like listen for long period this is an other story. Go with your 3 10awg line and if you are able, with a 12 awg run before closing the wall.
