I would suggest rolling capacitors. In my experience, oil filled caps tend to smooth out the highs, somewhat. I suggest trying Obbligatos, they are reasonably priced. Another alternative are some of the Russian made oil filled capacitors available on eBay. Just for the sake of seeing if the edge is smoothed out, you may try (new or used) motor run capacitors, which are also reasonable in price, but motor run caps tend to be huge. If a motor run cap does the job then purchase an oil filled cap that fits the required space.
You may find the composition of the current input capacitor is the problem. However, I believe the solution is the output capacitor. Seldom do you want to shape (alter) the input prior to amplification.If you identify the input caps (manufacturer/composition) we may be better able to provide viable suggestions.
