Brick, a couple of (possibly stupid) questions. If there is not the proper feedback will this actually damage the dac? Would it be a correct assumption that the 42v measured at the output be the max or near max voltage it would ever see? The op says it sounds better without the cap so if it can be done safely without harm to the dac or any shock risk I still think it would be a good thing. Thanks, Tweaker456
