Sorbothane is stick by nature, that's what makes it such a great damping material. Simply lift the LP up with the Sorbothane mat sticking to it, gently peel it off and return it to the platter and then return the LP to it.When Sorbothane gets dusty it will lose its stickiness and become less effective at damping as well. Simly wash it with some lukewarm water and a bit of soap and it will return to its original condition.
