John,Well, yes & no. The Hovland's 5% tolerance is better in the sense that the actual cap value will be closer to what's marked on the cap. OTOH, if the orig. caps in you Kestrels are 10% then the Auricap may be closer to the actual value of the OEM cap. (in most cases, the caps measure on the low side of the marked value- easy way for the makers to save a few pennies).
