Everything in the signal path effects sound. I would not change the inductors unless I could accurately measure their values including resistance. I would replace the caps with the Aricaps, and the resistors, if generic sand cast, with Mills no inductive units. Also, consider moving the x-over out of the inside of the enclosure to a metal box. This will remove it from a vibrational environment and allow quick tweaking.
