How can you put a 10X larger cap into the same space?

Did you replace original with same make/style?

Do you have any idea what makes a 10X larger cap sound better in EVERY position you've tried it? Are there positions where that strategy doesn't work?

I'm assuming these are electrolytic caps. Do the changes sound better immediately, or over a period of days? If days, how can you remember what it sounded like before? Is the difference that dramatic?
