Some of you may remember my postings on these two players. Well, I have another tweak for you. I had replaced 16 caps in my KI-Pearl (based on the Sa15)with values x10 bigger. Big change in the sound, damn good too. Now, I have one more change, the cap of the ref pin of the DAC. In the Sa15 it's C556, a 100uf cap. Now it's 1000uf, huge change in the sound. In focus all the way to the back of the sound field. In the Sa7 the cap is C208 but do C203 and C205 as well. Good Luck, bobwire
