Victor and David, it is not purely resistive load sorry if I mislead you. I had Relcap make me a batch of .0084uf teflons to replace the wonder cap in parrellel with the 518K reistor and they are now making a batch of .0024uf to replace the wonder caps in parrellel with the 31K load.It sounds like you were suggesting that I could replace this high value resistor with a lower value by changing the value of the capacitor. Well I can deal with straightforward capacitive reactance but this calculation / tweak is a little beyond my abilities. Thanks for the suggestion though.
