I had similar observations on my JoLida with, who knows, 5000 hours? Although not as severe as you describe, I would experience listening fatigue when I should not have been. Also big static discharges through anywhere you touched the chassis. It could be quite frightening to have to change the volume. It went away, and has not reappeared, since I changed out the coupling caps.
