..was the only one that made a difference in my system. I went from crappy power strip to Panamax power strip with filtering to a PS Audio UPC-200. I can't say I ever heard a difference with any of them. The PowerVar I tried stopped the transformer hum in my CD player, but I'd be hard pressed to identify changes out of the speakers. The Furman IT Reference, OTOH, did make a difference in sound, extending both the top and bottom end.
Of course, people swore by both the Panamax and the PS Audio, so try before you buy (or at least be able to return).
