Back in the eighties, these was the rage for awhile I called it "audio lasagna". I made them using high quality single strains of copper stuck in place using 2inch packing tape. I little delicate but it worked until you got tired of it, like everything else. I never had any hum or interference that i could hear. Of course I was listening to Dynaco PAT4 and ST70's and KLH speakers, AR TT with Shure cartrige, What happened to the good old days of simplicity.
