Alan, I'm trying to understand both theory and adaptation of the concept. I grasp the shielding concepts and can fathom that TI-Shield is superior because of the ferromagnetic layer in the copper sandwich and how grounding it adds that EM shielding effect to the regular copper's RF shielding effect.
Personal thing, but I like being able to go to the local hardware store, instead of having to order and stock specialized materials from distant sources. Was just trying to figure out if there was a simpler alternative available than ordering TI=Shield, but if the superiority of the TI is that much, then I'll just bite the bullet.
Since I've been experimenting a lot with R-Cs for AC filtering as well as speaker cables, I'm curious about all the potentials of similar materials and configurations.
