I was kinda looking to see if you had any theories as to how any properties of the fuse could affect the sonics given that they are passing AC.
I don't doubt you're hearing what you've reported - I've certainly heard plenty of things I can't explain.
Out of curiousity, on the fuses that have directionality marked, what are they marked in reference to? IOW, if there's an arrow, at what is the arrow supposed to point?
