Good idea for the nearly rollers, I may try it.
One good idea is to get an innertube from a kids bike.
Some of these are only 12 inch wheels and are a useful size.
Inflate it just a little and either put the chassis of a componant directly onto it or (as I do) put an mdf shelf onto it with your componant coned to the shelf.
Reccomended if you can get it is sorbothane. Make up a sandwich of 2 mdf shelves with a sheet of sorbothane in the middle.
Do not eat it for lunch as it is very chewy but put it under a componant (with cones of course).
It makes a great improvement.
If you really want to save money, don't buy cones but go to metal worker and get him to cut you some aluminium blocks from 25mm rod. You can use them either with or without cones. This has definitely worked on my syste,.
