I would have to say let your ears be your guid.
I mean the parts aren't to expensive, and you
seem to already be familar with your system that
you would notice the change...Right now I'm using some large ceramic plates
3/4"X8"X18" both on top and below my Denon CD
and my Zen amp. I've been playing with mass loading
using old phone books, more ceramic, less ceramic,
sand bags etc...Personally I think its totally a tune and test thing...
