...its horses for courses. I tried 'em and I found a midband emphasis, a rolling of the highs and a slightly diminished resolution. If you need that in your system (read: presently a bit analytic and hard) they could be just the ticket. given that comment I'm sure there is the component out there they absolutely lock-in with most all the time but the chances it will be yours arent any greater than for any other equipment support IMO....Joe
