Re: Vibrapods - anyone tried?

Hi Larry,

I've use them on all my components. The largest improvements came with an Equi=Tech Balanced Power Line Conditioner (seriously!) and with the power amps. Less dramatic improvements were noted with line-stage and CDP.

They didn't work well when placed under a Well-Tempered Reference TT.

In my system, placing the 'pods under equipment feet wass not the way to use these puppies. It shifted the soundstage forward and made everything a little in 'yer face.

Use the 'pods instead of the original feet, with a 3/4 washer and you'll hear what they can really do. The 'pods are quite thin so be careful that the screws you use have enough clearance and don't short anything inside your equipment.

In the area of vibration and resonance control price seems to have little direct relationship to efficacy.

Steve
