I found a nice improvement in clarity when I took the stock feet off my Wadia 861 and placed it on DIY roller-ball supports. These are soup spoon bowls attached to acrylic bases with polyurethane contstruction adhesive, and steel ball-bearings. The Wadia is firmly supported in the vertical direction, but free to move laterally. My floor is plywood over post and beam over crawl space, and the floor flexing mode translates to lateral vibration at the player through the rigid rack. Providing support that decouples the lateral vibration was the benefit.
If your player is light in weight, you may need to load it with some heavy sand bags to make this trick work.
