I appreciate your concern and I agree that a careful review of the current market will be needed to determine the most popular chassis sizes. The good news is that this business venture is not intended to support me -- I have a full-time job already -- instead, this is intended to supplement my income only.

The business (if I pursue it) will be shared with a good friend. He has access to warehouse space and would be in charge of order fulfillment. I expect to be responsible for customer contact, advertising and the like. Our overhead will be very low and it is only the initial investment in inventory (both the chassis and some other ancillary items we are considering carrying) that we will be risking. Worst case, we would sell goods on ebay.

So forget the business behind the scenes. Would you buy if you saw a suitable product?
