No polarity issues, cheap, readily available, and only need the crimper to do the job... and easy to construct RCA - RJ11...

Yeah, I've tried that too. Can't find my post on it but still have the photo I took (actually I did it on a scanner before I got a digital camera). They don't work too well with 30 gauge wire though. :)

Just goes to show there's more than one way to eliminate RCA plugs. :)
