RT = polystyrene. At least some Rel PP-F&Fs and 'styrenes in the early '80s were built with magnetic leads called, IIRC, copperweld. Perhaps that's one of the reasons Moncrieff didn't like the sound of the RTs as much as that of the Siemens Styroflexes.
