When I saw the subject, I thougth you were referring to me ;)If you go to the linked page, and go to almost the bottom, you can see the cavities someone made for his empire plinth.
Basically, you need two big ones, for the motor and tonearm, and 4 smaller ones, to get access to the mounting bolts on the top.
But, I am not sure why his tonearm cavity is so big, I don't think it needs to be that big, but it may make more sense when I get my arm (it's at the post office waiting for me to pick it up), and figure out how I am going to mount it. I bought some wood to make a tonearm boards, copying what this guy did.My empire is dissambled now, but I will try to take a pic of it this afternoon.
