As I've found over the years, Often it's the Replacement action.. the forming of a fresh connection that IS source of the difference, also on Cables but I digress.
Wanna try an Experiment?? Get Some De-Oxit then pull and treat every single connection in yer system.. Miraculous results..Or yer Hearing is Suspect :-)
Works wonderfully.. 'till the Oxidation reasserts, a few days later.
Suspect that a fresh connection is THE source of most 'Tweaks' improved sonics..
