It's probaly just compensating for a room anomoly. This is not at all uncommon when integrating a sub woofer. No reason it wouldn't work for a tweeter -- although the source of the anomoly being compensated may be a different.You might very well get different results in a different room or when changing the postions of either the speakers or listener.
