Thanks, Jeffrey. Will open it up and measure again - it's possible on one side, but it might start running into output wires on the other. I might be able to fit something 3 cm wide in there - the Nichicon look to be 3.5 cm - that's the width of the space they're sitting in, but the clamps limit the space. Heck, for the price, I may just order them and see if I can squeeze them in; maybe larger clamps could squeeze them in without running into the bottom panel of the unit or the transformer.Would any of Percy's Reliable polypropylene caps do the trick - some of those seem pretty small.
