Tweakers' Asylum Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ. |

I was taking a look at the board in my Jolida 102B tube amp earlier - here's a link to a picture of it:http://img14.imgspot.com/u/05/173/15/DSC000341.jpg
It seems to have decent tweak potential - the caps and resistors (I'm assuming those green things are resistors) are all pretty accessible, with the solder pads right there, so it should be pretty easy to swap them out without even removing the board.
Does anyone know this unit and what the best caps and resistors are to upgrade?
Here's a list of what's there:
Caps:
2 Rubycon 63v 220uF YXA (lower left-hand corner)
1 SHL 100uF 250v (center of the board) - seems to be connected via an insulated wire (the black sleeves)
2 massive Rubycon 450v 220uF(m) next to the transformer - seems to be connected via an insulated wire
The green thingies:
4 CBB22 2200 J 400v
2 CBB22 4700 J 400v
1 CBB22 0.1uf J 630v (lower right-hand corner)
Any promising upgrades there?
Thanks for any help or suggestions!
