When you say roughly equal or better parameters,Here's what I'm replacing:
2A 450V Ron=2.45ohms Ton=15ns Tr=20nsHere are 3 candidates I've identified:
A) 2.5A 500V Ron=3ohms Ton=8.1ns Tr=12ns (this one is the fastest)B) 2.5A 600V Ron=2.2ohms Ton=11ns Tr=13ns (this one is closer in resistance)
C) 3.5A 600V Ron=1.2ohms Ton=11ns Tr=13ns (would this much amp tolerance be ok? I like this one the most)
Any votes on which one would work best for a DVD player switching power supply? Since I've never done this I don't know what the implications are of choosing a higher amp/volt tolerance, lower resistance (Ron) & timing.
