I want to replace a MOSFET on a power supply board. Here are its basic ratings:
2A 450V 2.45ohmsIt's going to be hard to replace this mosfet with one of the exact same ratings, and this part isn't available anymore. Does anyone know what guidelines I should follow when choosing a replacement?
Here are my assumption (correct me if I'm wrong):
1.-I can exceed the amperage and voltage ratings of the original
2.-I can go lower than the resistance ratings of the original
