BTW, one reason that Rel's old 'styrene RTs didn't get rated better by Peter Moncrieff in his pioneering capacitor survey (published in the early '80s [?]) was that they used 'copperweld' leads that were indeed magnetic, making the caps inductive.Michael Percy sells affordable EAR-brand damping material called 'TED'. It comes in 12x40" sheets for only $11.50. I use it as 'tape' on caps, etc. Not being a GEA, I can't tell you that it improves the sound or reduces microphonics, etc., but it certainly ought to help.
