many comments to add here. first of all, i work for music direct, and am friends with the designer of the pigtails. just so that's out in the open. now for the comments......
1. speaking as an individual: i use pigtails, and think they make an improvement in coherence, realism, and soundstaging2. speaking as an md employee: our money back guarantee allows you to try them without risk, except for shipping charges
3.speaking as an individual: by "diy", don;t you mean reverse-engineer, i.e., find out just by being told, what someone had to spend time, effort, and money to research, and then reap the benefits of those efforts, without cost to yourself? -- isn;t there a difference between diy, and just copying someone elses idea? e.g., the difference between recapping with black gates, vs copying new/novel technology? comments welcome
