Cheap batting in SA

Builders warehouse sells cheap ceiling insulation called Polytherm that is basically a huge roll of polyester batting about 40mm thick.

It costs about ZAR150 a roll and you can cut strips to test different positions, sizes etc. before deciding on the final solution. Just for kicks I bought two rolls and placed them behind my speakers for a while. Great fun playing around with this stuff (it’s totally non-toxic) and it helped me determine the final position and quantity of traps, diffusers panels, carpets etc.
