Re: Best Budget AC Tweak

MTZ, here's what worked for me: a complete DIY power strip and cord. I used audionutge's recipe for the cord, P&S 5262A outlets, 10 AWG wire inside the box, 12 AWG THHN for the cord, P&S 5622 plug, basic boxes found in any harware store (you can chain 2 together to get room for 6 - 8 outlets and or incorporate JR's filter stuff. Building this is very easy and cost from your local hardware store is maybe $15-$20 USD. Cleaned up my sound in ways I hadn't anticipated and brought punch to bass, etc.

Yes, I'm quite convinced that AC tweaks work.

I plug all my analog into this strip and my one CDP into the wall socket, which I also replaced with a P&S. None of this stuff is expensive, exotic or cryoed, so you can decide for yourself at low cost and upgrade or just go for the expensive stuff in the first place.

Oh, don't forget to use CAIG ProGold or similar treatments. This also helps notably.
