Andrew,Yesterday I finished painting the listening room and re-installed all the gear after over three months without music. The sound was horrible--just awful. There's no doubt I need treatment.
So I'm headed to Home Depot today, with a $50 gift card my inlaws gave me. Foolishly, they think I will spend it on home improvement. Nope. I'm going for the 9" fiberglass and the chickenwire.
My listening room is going to look like the inside of a speaker cabinet--a box stuffed full of fiberglass.
Don't open that door!
