Re: Ferrite/plug test results

APM:

It is Sunday morning where I am, I have shaken off the effects of my refriderator/gravitational forces experiment, and I have plugged in the "thing" into a circuit not related to either my audio system or my computer. Umm....nada on the puter motor although I must confess I haven't had my cafe as of yet.

I too am using a Radio Skank ferrite----one leg has 3 wraps, the other I managed 4. The cord around the 4 wrap loop cannot get any tighter, the 3 wrapper can be tightened a bit.

I am also using a 2 prong plug with 18g wire.

With a few exceptions, several of us here are willing to give your contraption a shot although, like myself, with some doubt as to its worth. Be that as it may, I do not hear any difference in the running of my computer motor. But, come to thing of it, much of what I am hearing is the sound of forced air through the slits in the case. If that is the case, might the TV be the best indicator of any changes? Methinks audio is far too subjective a litmus for the effects claimed with your tweak.

So, please advise if I my approach needs some adjusting.

Sincerely,

One Who Did Buy a Green Pen
