What you might want to do is split the power supply up and use a choke filter for the gain stages and a cap input filter for the op stages. Input stages typically only require .5-1 amp max. draw from the power supply, allowing a smaller choke to be used and still allowing you to increase regulation/filtration to the most imortant stages of an amp. To further increase isolation put a FREDS diode in series with the rail to the input stages. Then when the op stage draws current from the supply, the cap and diode prevents a sag in the rail caused by the op stage draw, as the diode is reversed biased and the cap after the diode will help keep the rail from sagging (distorting)as much as no diode in series. So what I'm saying is use the cap. input filter like normal, than tap off through a series FRED diode,then the choke and a cap(2200 micro farad?) after the choke and this feeds your input/gain stages.
