And only you can decide which trade-offs are most important to you.
You find a speaker you love in your price range and if it's time coherent, great.
But back to your question, I've never heard two identical speakers side to side where one had time coherence and the other didn't so I can't tell you specifically what difference it makes.
I own two pair of speakers - Thiels and Vandersteens - and both are time and phase coherent.
There are many other speakers which image just as well.
