Agree with you completely, Matt. Pete was truly a special talent. (All of them were, actually, but even in that company, Pete stood out.) He was a phenomenal guitarist, excellent pianist, brilliant songwriter, and, like you said, his vocals were so warm and sweet, yet he could belt out a rocker with the best of 'em. Badfinger is my favorite group of all time, and not a day goes by that I don't think what could have been with that band. But they left behind a very rich body of work that deserves inclusion in the R&R Hall of Fame. Maybe someday.
